For law firms
Your clients need a whistleblowing channel. You should be the one providing it.
EU Directive 2019/1937 requires organisations with 50 or more employees to operate a secure internal reporting channel. Most don't have one yet. As their trusted legal adviser, you're in the best position to solve this — and build a new recurring revenue stream.
The compliance gap is massive
employees is the threshold. Any organisation above this must have a reporting channel under the EU Directive.
EU Directive on the protection of whistleblowers — now transposed into national law across all member states.
European languages supported. Your clients' employees can report in their native language, wherever they are.
Why law firms are the natural partner for whistleblowing
Legal privilege
Reports handled by a law firm may benefit from attorney-client privilege — a critical protection for sensitive disclosures that internal teams cannot offer.
Independence
The Directive encourages external, independent report handling. An external law firm removes the conflict of interest inherent in internal-only channels.
Existing trust
Your clients already trust you with their most sensitive legal matters. Whistleblowing is a natural extension of that relationship — not a separate vendor decision.
Regulatory expertise
You already understand the Directive, GDPR, and your national transposition law. You can advise clients on compliance while also operating the channel — a service no SaaS vendor alone can provide.
How it works with Report Securely
You sign up as a partner
Create a free partner account. You get access to a portal where you can manage all your clients from one place.
Your clients get a branded channel
Each client gets their own whistleblowing channel, branded to their organisation. Employees submit reports through a secure, anonymous interface.
Whistleblowing reports come to you
Whistleblowing reports are routed to your firm for professional review. Feedback-type reports stay with the client's internal team. You handle what matters.
You manage, advise, resolve
Communicate securely with the reporter, assess the case, advise your client, and close the matter — all within the platform. Full audit trail included.
Feedback stays internal. Whistleblowing goes to you.
Report Securely distinguishes between two report types: feedback and whistleblowing. This matters because it determines who handles the case.
Feedback
General workplace feedback, suggestions, or minor concerns. These stay with the client's internal team. You don't need to be involved in every comment about office temperature.
Whistleblowing
Reports of serious misconduct — fraud, corruption, harassment, safety violations, data breaches. These are routed to your firm for independent, professional handling under the Directive.
If a report is misclassified, you can reclassify it. A whistleblowing report that turns out to be general feedback can be sent back to the client's internal team — and vice versa.
AI-powered writing style anonymisation
Even anonymous reports can reveal identity through writing style. Report Securely includes an AI text rephrasing tool that neutralises stylistic, cultural, and identifying fingerprints — removing distinctive phrasing, idioms, and markers of education, region, or profession.
This is stylometric anonymisation: the meaning is preserved, but the writing voice is neutralised. It's an additional layer of protection beyond channel anonymity — particularly valuable for small organisations where writing styles are recognisable.
