Our story
Report Securely grew out of Skiwo, a Norwegian technology company with deep experience building secure communication platforms. When the EU adopted Directive 2019/1937 in 2019, we saw both a regulatory need and a market gap: millions of European organisations would soon be required to operate internal reporting channels, but most had no solution in place — and the existing options were either enterprise-priced or poorly suited to the needs of law firms.
We built Report Securely to be the platform we'd want if we were a law firm advising clients on whistleblowing compliance: simple to deploy, genuinely secure, available in every European language, and designed so that the law firm — not just the client — has the tools to handle sensitive reports properly.
Our first partner was Kvale, one of Norway's leading law firms, who co-developed the workflow for routing whistleblowing reports to external legal counsel. That partnership shaped the product: the distinction between feedback (handled internally) and whistleblowing (routed to the partner law firm), the case management system, and the AI text rephrasing tool for stylometric anonymisation all came from real requirements in that collaboration.
Today, Report Securely serves organisations across 36 European countries. We remain a small, focused team based in Oslo — which means we can move quickly, respond to partner needs directly, and keep the product sharp.
